Social Opportunities
As a close-knit family at the FEMA Region 6 Denton Campus, we understand that life can present unexpected challenges, and during such times, it is crucial for us to come together and support one another. It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the difficult circumstances some of our colleagues may be facing due to illness or the loss of a loved one. In an effort to provide tangible support and express our empathy, we are introducing a voluntary meal donation program through the Region 6 Employees Association. This program allows willing employees to contribute meals for their colleagues who are currently unwell or grieving. The intention is to ease the burden on those individuals and their families during challenging times. Participation in this program is entirely voluntary, and any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. If you wish to participate, please contact Debra Owens, Social Director, FEMA Region 6 Employees Association, at [email protected] or 940-205-7766 to coordinate your contribution. We understand that privacy is important such sensitive times, so all arrangements will be made discreetly and with the upmost respect for the affected individuals and their families. Let us remember that our strength lies in our unity, and by supporting each other, we can navigate through even the most difficult circumstances. Thank you for your compassion and willingness to make a positive impact on the lives of our colleagues. You can set up a Meal Train for your colleagues here: https://www.mealtrain.com/ and once set up share with Debra Owens so that it may be shared with others. |
